He presented my work in a logical way that reinforces the story line of my homes very much like a script from a movie or a novel. Pablo did a great job at capturing the essence of my practice. From the first day we had lunch in New York, working with you has been a great pleasure. I haven’t fully expressed to you how pleased I am with Gesture and Response. Currently, he teaches at the Masters of Branding from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and the Masters of Branding and Integrated Communications from the City College of New York (CCNY-CUNY), where he’s also a board member since 2016. He’s been active for over 25 years as a professor and an advisor in different universities in Argentina and the US. In 2010 he created the first official coin ever designed by a branding studio in Argentina’s history: the current 2 pesos coin. The resulting icon transcended the festivities for Argentina’s 200 years and became a lasting patriotic symbol. Towards the end of 2009, he won the national contest for the Argentine Bicentennial brand. He is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Branding from the University of Palermo, Buenos Aires.Īs MeM Branding director he was responsible for developing several city branding projects around the world, like Berlín, Brooklyn, Salta, Neuquén, Godoy Cruz and Bariloche, among others. In 1996 he founded MeM Branding, a branding studio where he develops identity strategies for different corporate and institutional clients in Argentina, LATAM, USA, Canada and Europe. Gustavo Stecher is an Argentine graphic designer graduated from the Buenos Aires University (UBA). Last but not least: Pablo is an artist, a musician, a husband and a father.
His design for Patrick Ahearn’s Timeless, won the Gold winner in Art & Photography category of the The Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) 2019 Benjamin Franklin Award program. His book design for the YUL-MTL: Moving Landscapes project was honoured with the Canadian Society and Landscape Architecture 2016 Award of Excellence, Research and Communication category.
